Recording memories of the news

A series of portraits and interviews will be collected in over 20 cities across the U.S. during the four months surrounding the 2016 Presidential Election.

The interviews are structured into four chapters: “Stories”, “U.S. Election”, “Practice”, and “Future”. “Stories” investigates the news that the interviewees have read, heard, or watched; “U.S. Election” focuses on how the media shapes the narrative of the U.S. Election; “Practice” looks at how people view the news through their own professional lens;  “Future” imagines how we will consume the news the day after tomorrow.

Issue N°1 of Day After Reading was realized in San Francisco (CA) in 2014, and Issue N°2 in Valencia (CA) in 2015. Both issues are also published here.
